The Gypsy's Thimble on etsy contains all of my favorite jewelry designs, divided into four separate rooms, or moods. Wild Beauty; Alchemy; The Ancient Path and Come Hither. Lots of gorgeous stones, crystals, world beads, antiquities, hammered metals, hand chased personalized charms, always adding new ideas.
Old World Beads on etsy is a treasure trove chock full of beads, more and more and more beads. I try to find the most interesting, beautiful, unusual....the things that I feel are worth collecting and bringing to my customers. Ever changing! I hope you will visit both just to take in the eye candy! They certainly give an insight into my creative impulses.
I hope to make Red Thimble Road into an interesting ongoing "behind the scenes" view of an artist's life, along with interesting bits of my personal life too! And I hope to make it worth your time!
RED THIMBLE ROAD
follow me....behind the scenes...through willows weeping crystals, through clouds raining pearls, through colored silk streamers chiming with miniature golden bells...to a place where the only limit is your own imagination...

Merry meet! We had our first snow of the season here in Indy yesterday! On 11/11/11! Just a few flurries to coat the cars and bushes, but Real Snow!! I just noticed that the old appliance store in Wanamaker is still doing the Halloween contest for the kindergarteners artwork! This has been going on since my sister was 5 years old...she is now....much older!! What a wonderful ageless tradition to keep on keeping on! All those little 12 inch blocks on the glass fronted windows, filled in with a 5-year-old's dreams and hopes for Halloween night embellished with poster paint and a chilly wind on an early Saturday morning. So sweet! We still have a photo of my sister painting her picture. I will try to track it down for you!
